DELHI VISIT SUMMARY

Dear Members,

It was the decision take at Kerala Chapter Annual General body during the first week of February 2012 to send someone to Delhi to follow up regarding the issues with university and council. 

Dr.Rajesh Rajan (National President of IACC) was elected to send to Delhi. During the last 2 weeks he met Central ministers like A.K Antony (Defense), Vayalar Ravi (Overseas), fixed appointment with Ghulam Nabi Azad (Health) and Jairam Ramesh (Rural Development) and Rahul Gandhi. Met office of the Minister Kapil Sibil - His principal secretary Dr.Dinesh Arora IAS.

Met Dr. Shashi Tharoor MP - He promised to raise the issue in the parliament and also will write a letter to the council. Also met HON.Prof.P.J.Kurian MP, Hon.Mr.Anto Antony MP and HON. Mr.PK Biju - MP, Hon.P.C Chacko MP , Hon.K.N.Balagopal M.P. All will be discussing it in the Parliament in the special mention, starquestions and in zero hour.

Met IGNOU Vice-Chancellor Prof.M.Aslam and discussed the issues of Kerala and in General. Met Prof.Jena Director school of health sciences and Dr.Biplab.

Met MCI chairman Prof. K.K Talwar and submitted 250 pages of proposal. Soon the opinion with solutions will be send to our office.

Delhi Chapter formation was done officially.

During coming days planning to meet more ministers, MPs and officials.

So far things are moving in the right direction with very good responses. Soon we will hear some happy news. Lets hope the almighty will help all of us.
